RIbbon cutting
September 2018 – Lt. Governor of Virginia Justin Fairfax joined community physicians and team members from Inova for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the Somatus dialysis center in Falls Church, VA. The new dialysis center is located at 500 North Washington Street in the heart of Falls Church, just off Route 66 near the East Falls Church Metro station.
In addition to in-center dialysis, this center helps coordinate home-based hemodialysis and home-based peritoneal dialysis for patients.
The Somatus philosophy of “Elevating Patient Care” means that the care experience has been designed with patients’ needs in mind. This includes helping eligible patients access home-based dialysis modalities, and maximizing the number of patients who qualify for and receive kidney transplantation.
