WHAT:
Inova Heart and Vascular Institute Unveils Hybrid Operating Room
Inova Heart and Vascular Institute will unveil a uniquely designed cardiovascular operating room (OR) that combines the capabilities of a cardiovascular OR and a cardiac catheterization lab in one room. It will allow cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists and cardiologists to combine their expertise and operate together on a patient. This high-tech hybrid OR, the first in the Washington, DC region, reduces surgical time and allows patients to recover faster.
